ProRes videos will be self contained files (video + audio) with a QuickTime ".mov" extension, that's always been like that. It's Apple's codec.
RAW videos will be a series of ".dng" files, one RAW image for each frame of the video. The audio is in a separate file. You won't be able to play the RAW video footage back in a regular player, only preview it in Davinci Resolve, After Effects, or Speedgrade. You can properly play it back after encoding to another format (e.g. ProRes).
