Yes, I've been asking for ASIO for a while ... However, I have to say that the new Native Audio option (Manual Mode) in DR15 provides a pretty nice workaround. Sees my RME UFX+ just fine using its WDM drivers.
I too have a question about monitoring: It would 'seem' that Resolve can only select one set of monitors at a time [?] & that is set in the main Audio I/O prefs: eg, say *either* a stereo pair or a 5.1 set. In 'physical' recording studios one selects between monitoring sources on the fly, say, Main, Nearfield, Surround etc.
While Resolve provides these same labels to create monitoring sets, it would appear that only one speaker configuration set can be used at at time, and also that this then applies to Resolve global preferences, ie, to all projects unless switched again. Is this correct?
What I've been wanting to do is mix & route tracks to multiple busses (eg a stereo bus and a 5.1 bus) like in other DAWs, but it would seem this is not possible without going back to the main Resolve prefs and switching the speaker configuration setup. Or am I missing something here?
