Hi Dermot,

I can not reproduce.
Issue with the recent desktop video drivers (?)

I do not know with which version you are but (I do not remember), I know that there was firmware update there about a year (or less ...).
Call the support?

I just did a test with a C200 4KDCI on UHD TL and Video UHD format: burn in is present.

so an update, i installed 15.0.30 on yet another machine, the other three machines needed to get back to work, and they all have 14.3 on them as well

so i installed 15 on a z400 with a k2200, and although as slow as a slow thing can possibaly slow, it runs reliably... and the burnin works on it

maybe it's something to do with haveing both 14.3 and 15 on the same sys drive partition on the working tools, and although not recomended, i'm planning on leaving both 14.3/15 on the working machines,

i'm far more likely to seat time on a working tool, than finding time to switch a bookeeper's machine into a gradeing workstation at random downtimes

and it does not appear to affect 14.3 what so ever

Interesting. Reminds of something i have noticed now a few times but cant exactly find the trigger. But it happened in ofx mode and also when i was playing with some red material that suddenly either the screen went black in one case or no ofx worked. So you see the image but no ofx overlays like flares etc. Only a restart of resolve fixes it.
Maybe somthing triggers a breakdown of some screen buffer.
I have to play with different desktop video drivers to see if that chnages things. If anyone sees something similar like Dermot (black screen) or what i have please let me know what triggers it so we can have something solid to send to BM

one more piece of a puzzle, i made a DRP with the only machine that shows images when burn-in is turned on, opened that in a machine that shows the issue, as expected the viewer went away, but as soon as i hit render the output displays, and it renders correctly

as soon as the render is finished the viewer goes away until i turn off burn-in, it then the image re-appears

a bit warry of desktop video updates given the spotty track record of stability on that file, but it seems no one is experiencing meltdowns, so i'll update over the weekend

further to this bug,
i imported a DRP from 14.3 into 15,
the timeline was left with burn-in turned on, and it appeared in v15
once i bypassed the burn-in, if i enabled it again the output went to black, so it can appear, but only if it's turned on in another version and imported
