I am looking to transition from Adobe Premiere to Davinci Resolve and have tried the free version of the software. I have one issue that is really preventing me from coming over.
One thing I like about Adobe is that when I input my raw footage the adobe raw is able to interpret the dngs as a final product, which I believe is in accordance with the color science of the camera as when I shoot in prores the images look the same as the interpreted raw footage.
The camera I am using has a unique color palette which I would like to preserve and in any event is difficult to reproduce manually, without significant time and labor.
This is incredibly handy for me as a starting point and saves me a lot of time in post.
I cannot get davinci resolve to interpret the footage in a similar fashion, unfortunately.
I can't see how I would go about preserving the color science of the camera and speeding up my post workflow in Davinci.
Is there anyone who could be of assistance? I am new so am just trying to find my feet.

I think you should be bale to do so, by setting DNG RAW in project settings to Camera Metadata. There are few levels in Resolve to control how RAW is behaving in project by default. Read manual.

Sorry, I am using the Ikonoskop A-cam dII, running Windows 10.
I know adobe recognizes the camera but I am not sure if it is supported in Davinci.
I have a i7 processor (can't remember the exact model now) and a GTX980ti.
Your help would be much appreciated to ease my potential transition.
Let me know if you require any further information.
