Media Not Importing

Hello all,

I attempted to search for this but didn't find an answer that met my situation and appologies if I have posted this in the wrong area I am super tired...

I have 14 videos, all filmed with a Yi Lite, 60FPS, 1920x1080 as MPEG-4.

Da Vinci Resolve can seemly see and import 6 of these videos no problem what so ever, but it cannot even see the others. I'd understand if something was different about them but they were all filmed using the same settings etc. Is there something I am unaware of or can try?

I am new to this software so appologies if I am asking a stupid question.

I guess you are on the free version of v15?

Thank you very much for the response. Yes I am using the free version.

I have uploaded a folder to my Google Drive. So when I go to Media in Resolve and browse to this folder, one video shows up and the other one does not (I have also tried this on two different machines).

The file ending in 04 shows in my media browser the file ending in 03 does not. Both as far as I can tell are the same type of file etc. they were recorded on the same device literally one after the other. I can supply more of the working and not working files if required.

Thank you very much for the assistance. I have not used the software much yet but with the files that are working I am finding it really nice to work with.

My guess it that Resolve does not like the aac audio.

Demux the source, you should be able to load the video separately and convert the audio to some other format, like wav.

But if that was the case why would some work and not others?
