Resolve 15 beta no audio

I switched from Premiere Elements(Not pro) to resolve because I wanted more functions, so I downloaded the resolve 15 beta(lite) yesterday. I added my footage and music and wanted to start editing, when I noticed that I had no audio. I can see the waves and everything but Incan't hear anything...
I haven't seen any solutions yet so I went here.

I'm having similar issues. If you are using window 7 you can import the video there first and then save it. Import the saved file to resolve and you should have audio.

I was having this problem with 15 beta as well. Imported a video clip and could see the VUE meter activity as I was playing the clip, but could get no sound out of the computer.

The solution for me was to ensure that the default sample rate and bit depth were set to DVD quality on the speakers in the sound control panel for Windows 7.

This fixed it for me..YMMV.
