15b2 audio waveform updates after dragging level

PostFri May 11, 2018 12:07 pm

Since the v15 beta's, the audio waveform doesn't follow the dragging of the level on the Edit-page. Before you could immediatly see where the audio clipped, but not it takes a couple of attempts to adjust the level.

Also audio wishlist:

Show the dB-level when dragging the level up and down on the Fairlight-page.

Also, when adding a keyframe on the audio section with Alt-Click-Left, it would be great if the level didn't change at that point, but stayed where it was ;)

It would be nice when adjusting the general level or a specific audio-keyframe, if this could be controlled by pressing a key via fixed or user-set steps. So:
Click-left + drag: change to any level
Shift + click-left + drag: change audio-level in 1dB steps
Alt + click-left + drag: change audio-level in 0.5dB steps
Ctrl + click-left + drag: change audio-level in 3dB steps
And double click the the keyframe resets it to 0dB

The audio waveform height has been fixed in b5. Thanks :)

Still levelshift when adding a keyframe in Fairlight.
