So I ordered the Resolve Studio 15 from B&H photo which is listed on the web site as an authorized dealer. When I received the activation package today the cover states Resolve Studio version 14. I called B&H and they said I could return it but I shouldn't worry about what the package says, The 14 Activation code will work with the version 15.
So when it comes to this type of thing I am not very trusting. I don't want to wait a week since they make you return the product first. Is what they are saying in fact true?
Just be aware that 15 is still in beta. It's been solid for me so far, but if you're doing critical work you might want to stick with 14 until 15 is out of beta.

George, i can confirm the v14 activation key will work for v15. It's still in beta today and so you can use the activation key for v14 or v15 beta, and when v15 is finally released the same key will work.
We dont start shipping v15 activation keys until the v15 is formally released.
