I have a 3 camera setup that I am trying to sync the audio & video. The first view is the 'wide' shot of the whole stage (MTS). The second is the 'tight' shot on the scene (MOV). I am willing to give up the 3rd camera for simplicity. What I want to do is have the 1st view as the main scene of the show. Then when there are solos etc, the 2nd camera gets them. I want to sync the two sources so I can zoom in for the tight shots (camera 2) and return to main shot (camera 1) throughout show. I have tried everything I can find to sync the two source without ANY luck. Wife is getting angry - please help (I was voluntold to do this ).
Have you tried making a multicam clip from these two (three) in the media pool? Sync them by audio or mark a common point in time on all clips and sync by marker.

That is what I am trying to do, but can't get it work. I can get the clips into the pool. Then I select them all and right click and click 'sync w/ waveform' but nothing seems to happen no matter what I try. I think I am following the instructions I have found online, but still no luck. Can you point me to a good tutorial? FWIW, I am on a Mac and using v14 and just downloaded v15.

This is the only reason I will help...

My savior !
I am at work now, but I believe the answer is yes. I will comfirm this afternoon (I am East Coast of US). One thing I was going to do this afternoon is convert the MTS to MOV so I am working with same file type in case that was causing an issue (plus I learend MTS is not a preferred type to work with).
Ok, convert, check every files is read in the media pool and confirm...
