I have been having a problem where my footage turns out worse after I render it. The quality is perfect while editing but when I open it on my computer (after the render) the quality seems less sharp and a bit washed out. I have tried messing around with the project settings but nothing I try seems to change it.
Essentially the footage while in the software looks sharper, but after I render and view on my computer, the footage seems less sharp and the colours a little different (if I do some grading). I have a feeling that this may just be due to the fact that the footage in the software is having to be compressed to a smaller size, therefore, giving it a sharper look. But I just wanted to be sure that was normal and not something I could fix.
I am using 1080p 60fps footage and exporting in the youtube 1080p format @ 24fps (24 is the only option it gives me...).
In the project settings, the video format is set to 1080PsF 24.
The mismatched resolution files are set to Scale entire image to fit.
The codec is RGB 10bits. The video format is set to DPX
(I will add screenshots of all of this)
