Unable to record.

PostMon May 28, 2018 9:06 pm

DR 14.3.0.014. Focusrite Scarlett 18i20.

I am trying to record an additional track in the Fairlight page and I get nothing. I am following the instructions starting on pp 1142 in the manual but I see no activity on the corresponding meter. When I press the record button, the red bar that supposedly indicates where audio is being recorded shows up, but when I stop, there is nothing there.

What am I missing?

Is your Scarlet frame rate set to 48kHz and is it selected in the Mac "Audio Midi Setup app"

I can set it to 48kHz but as soon as I start Resolve, it immediately switches to 44.1 and won't let me change it. Even though my project supposedly has 48kHz audio. If that is the case, I should be getting either silence or the existing audio should be sped-up sounding. I forget which.
