Audio track turning from stereo to mono

PostWed Jun 06, 2018 7:48 am

In the Edit page put a video with 2 or more mono tracks on the timeline, add a new stereo track on the timeline and put a stereo clip on this stereo track, now remove the mono clips from the mono track.

You now have empty tracks. Right click and select remove empty tracks. The stereo track moves up to where the first mono track used to be and turns into a mono track.

I'm having trouble seeing this issue.

I've tried these steps in several scenarios on Resolve Studio beta 4 - linked/unlinked clips, deleting the mono tracks with or without deleting clips, using Clear Empty Tracks vs deleting them individually, and even on Fairlight page.

It would be really helpful to get a project export and/or a screen capture if that's possible.

Thanks for the feedback
