activation key from Itunes?

Hello,
I have resolve studio, I bought it on the apple App Store.
Now I have installed v15 and it's asking for the activation key.
I don't think I have one.
Do I?

back story:
I still have v14.3 running.
I had previously installed v15 (free beta, non studio) and started working with it.
I wanted to use some studio tools in v15.
A BMD guy at cinegear showed me that all I have to do is download and install Resolve Studio v15 and it will update resolve studio v14.3 to v15.
So I did that but it installed over the free public v15 instead of v14.3.
I hadn't backed up the v15 database just the v14.3.
I need to secure the projects that I have started in the v15 free version.
Where are they?
Or do I have an activation key from the App Store?

So, if you bought resolve through the App Store you don't get access to beta versions of studio.
You can install the free but limited version though.
I wish I knew that before I bought it because to get the beta version I need to but it again...

So I uninstalled 15 studio and re installed 15 public and my projects were still intact.
