losing audio sync in 15b5

PostThu Jun 14, 2018 9:42 pm

Hi,

I had synced a bunch of Red clips with separate audio via timecode yesterday in 15b4. Today I loaded up that project in 15b5 and everything is out of sync. I tried re-syncing with the same results. I then downgraded back to 15b4 and everything is in sync as expected, and new clips brought in sync as expected as well.

Hello,

I had the same audio sync issue with 15b5. My footage is Prores from an Atomos Ninja 2, separate wav audio from a Zoom H2n. Synced the clips with waveform in 15b4, lost sync with 15b5. Reinstalled 15b4 which fixed the problem. I am using the free version of Resolve.

I had another issue with fullscreen playback (on GUI monitor), where playback would get stuck on play, couldn't exit fullscreen, couldn't stop playback. However, the audio issue was a showstopper so I went back to 15b4 right away, so I don't have any more information about that.

Hi,

I had the same audio sync issue with 15b5. Footage is 4K H264 from Sony 7sII and audio from MixPre10T. To fix this I uninstalled 15b5 and installed 15b4 that solved issue.

Hardware:
MSI laptop, 2x980 2x8G, i7, 32GRAM, Win 10, 4TSSD.
