Yellow or Red overlay at rendering

PostSat Jun 23, 2018 1:20 am

I have a time-lapse sequence that I'm finishing up and all of a sudden Davinci Resolve 14 started rendering the video with a yellow, and once a red colored overlay.

While I'm editing the video, everything is normal, once I click 'Start Render' then it renders with this unwanted overlay...

PLEASE HELP! :?:

That's a 7-year-old MacBook -- it's gonna be rough getting it to render.

Stab in the dark: what is the source material? What are you rendering it to?

What happens if you drop the render speed down to something like 2fps?

It was rendering fine before, I’ve made a few time lapses using the software on my machine. I went back in to change some things to this clip and now it renders like this...

Try to make the video smaller, like 720 by 1280 if you have tried 1080 by 1920 before and see what happens.

Your hard ware is on the edge, you might be better off with version 12.5.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
