Multicam and additional screen

PostTue Jul 03, 2018 5:21 pm

Hello,

First of all, I like to say sorry if my english is not the best, I french.

I have a little problem on my davinci resolve. I did a multicam shot, all was just fine for about two hours of editing (I have two cameras). But at some point it seams that there’s a problem on the multicam: it doesn’t want to show the two different angles. And again it was working just fine few minutes ago. But for the rest of the project it’s just showing the same angle two times, side by side…
I already checked that I have two different tracks that are two separate shot so it shouldn’t be showing only one of the two…
(You can look the pictures to see what I mean)

Do you have any idea of what would the problem be? I really need to finish my editing for a customer

I have the last mac book pro 15inch :

2.9GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory
512GB SSD storage
Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB memory

That is my first problem.

My second problem is that when I plug in my second screen ( 31MU97-B-4k-ips-led-monitor ), DaVinci Resolve crashes, either instantly or a few minutes after the plugging. It tends to be crashing even more drastically when I’m editing some UHD 4k files. Could that have any thing to do with my GPU? Which is brand new!!

Maybe I need an additional GPU? In that case which one should I be getting?

Thanks you
