Thank you

PostThu Jul 05, 2018 8:38 am

Hi all,
not strictly related to Resolve bugs but I want to say thank you to BMD programmers for their constant work on this fantastic program.
I did a lot of beta testing for several programs an I can say that BMD has the fastest cadence on new releases and updates.
Resolve has millions of lines of code and find bugs is not an easy task. I was lucky and I haven’t found on my systems critical issues.
Lots of audio-video-3d standards, lots of in-out variables. Probably Da Vinci Resolve is the most complex program (easy to use) on this planet.
Thank you from a creative user.

Seconded.
I have been beta tester for several big programs (even under NDA) and you are doing great!

Agreed.

Actually this is the reason that I am here - BM are receptive to interaction and are disruptively changing the world.

Add my voice to the chorus. What a boon to have such a powerful tool available! Especially for those of us that have funding levels that are essentially zero!

I agree that BMD's willingness to make changes in what most developers consider "late in the cycle" is great. Its how development should be done to deliver the best release possible, especially small features that are helpful. its far more often not the big features, but all the little ones that add up to a positive user experience.

Heartful 'Thank You!' from a greatly appreciated Linux user. I faced so much pain doing periodic semi-pro video work under Linux OS over last 7 years. Only a few applications I was a beta testing participant for. 1 commercial solution and a number of open source products. Neither has so fast paced development manner and so far going product roadmap. Keep up your wonderful work!
