How do I make the background transparent instead of black?

PostSun Jul 08, 2018 9:12 pm

How to I make the background transparent on a clip I am trying to export? I have done everything right and I know the clip can be transparent as if I put a background on it, it is, but when I export the clip, the background is black. Can anyone help me?

You'll need to define an alpha output and connect it to the node that has transparency. Then you'll need to use a codec on output that can carry alpha, like ProRes or DNxHR 444 and activate "Export Alpha". BTW, only when exporting "Individual Clips",
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
