Deselection Bug

PostMon Jul 09, 2018 10:40 pm

The Effects Library being open will sometimes prevent CTRL+SHIFT+A from working.

Here are the specific steps I'm taking in my editing. I don't know if all of them are necessary, but I do know this will predictably show the issue.

1. Make a cut across all tracks.
2. Arrow down to next edit point.
3. Scrub back a bit.
4. Make another cut across all tracks.
6. Shift Left Arrow to move back 1 second.
7. X to select
8. Backspace to Ripple Delete. (My custom shortcut. Not sure of default.)
9. V to select the edit point.
10. Up Arrow to move to previous edit point.
11. Down Arrow to original edit point, now with all edit points selected. (Selecting all edit points really needs to be a shortcut.)
12. CTRL+T to add video and audio transitions across all clips.
13. CTRL+SHIFT+A to deselect the edit points.

13 only works with the Effects Library closed.

Seems to be fixed in Beta 7. Thanks, BMD.
