V15ß6 - "Deliver" not storing video format

PostTue Jul 10, 2018 8:11 am

Under the "Custom" option, I defined the video format as "MP4".
This appears fine, until I leave the project. Next time I load the project, the video format has reverted to the standard "Quick Time" format.

I also note that changing the Youtube resolution from 720 to 1080 is also not stored. Same happens with Vimeo and Final Cut Pro X reverts to Final Cut Pro 7.

I'm using the free version.

You can define your own format any time and save it as preset (three dots in the upper right).
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Thanks, but that's not really the problem. Surely, if I change my project settings to something other than default, those settings should be stored in the project, so that whenever I work with it, I have the correct settings.

I've also noticed that, under "Custom", the "Export Audio" checkbox is set to "off" (i.e. unchecked) by default. What sort of video goes without a sound track by default?

Don't see that here (MacOS).

It seems that it could be some incompatibility with previous versions. I have an "Untitled Project" that was created with an older ß-version. It doesn't happen when I create a new project in the project manager.

Sorry about that.

Other than all the other items still revert to the system default and are not saved. I have created a preset that I have to invoke every time I go to "Deliver" to render a project.

Yeah, and I find it annoying too that the stills export in the gallery always reverts to default.
