all clip audio channels to timeline

PostWed Jul 11, 2018 5:44 am

Again sorry for my stupid questions but yes, I have googled this and audio seems to get very little attention from many users trying to help.

When I open Resolve 15 I can drag video clips to the timeline and all its audio channels follow. Great!
But after a while doing the same thing only a single audio clip will come over with the video. What did I change to make that happen? In Avid you can select what audio channels you want and you get them.
Seems to be rather different here. I can't seem to turn on all the other audio clips again.

When I edit I do things very rapidly so fast fingers make errors?

If your clips have a different audio track count to the track count in the timeline and you drag them to the same place the additional audio track are discarded unless you create additional audio tracks.
