"Resolve has quit"

happened five times in the last 30 min
using either Resolve native white ballance, or Paul Dore's ballance OFX
UHD timeline
45sec, commerical
mostly r3d sources
three DJI shots

clients in the room, gave up, moved session to Nucoda....

first two times, only used the native white ballance
second two times used Paul's OFX

recalled a saved DRP, worked off that, had a fifth crash when i tried to use the native white balance

each time Resolve asked me to automagicly send a log, and i did

up to yesterday all v15 beta's have been super stable

once the machine is free later today i'll pull a log

finished the session in another software, have some tweaks today, then will try again with Resolve

Any Windows update?

I can't use Resolve any more on my laptop since a week, after upgraded to b6. Everything worked before. Now no version works. "Resolve has quit"...

Adriano, sorry to hear the white ballance is not working for you, i don't use it much, so it may well be that i've not fallen into this particular hole before...

just had a chance to drop b7 onto another machine, open the troubled project there, and for me it works perfectly every time


Adriano, both machines are z820's / w10 / all updates / dual xeon / 128g ram / SAS disk array

today i updated the other z820 to b7, and it no longer shows any issues with the WB picker in the problematic project, or any other

see no reason for the gals and guys at BMD to look at the log at this point, issue is sorted in b7
