DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel connection issues

I am currently having an issue with my DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel where after a period of no activity, the panel will seemingly turn off (all the lights go off) and will not reconnect to resolve unless it is forcibly restarted (unplugging and re-plugging in the power cable) or restarting resolve.

It's not the worst issue in the world, but can get annoying when you have to go restarting your panel after every time you get up!

Joss, what OS and computer hardware are you using?
Which version of Resolve?
