Can't see video in my timeline

Hi

I have imported my first ever video. A short mp4 go pro video. Cant see any visuals in the time line but can hear audio


Then i tried importing a bigger mp4 vids from my holiday and it just crashed the programme

Not looing at all good so far and likely going to use Adobe if can't get it sorted. SOOOO disappointing

Resolve got it sorted on the Mac and with the paid version on the PC.

Hi John, its likely due to system config or the file type not supported in the free version on your OS.

The OS is the same on both computers and mp4 is compatible. My PC is a high spec.

Id buy the software but if i cant get it working to try it free first i am concerned it wont work if i buy it

Ok im like a real wally - the HDMI on my screen was connect to the default GPU and need to be plugged into my Nvidia port. Simple solutions sometimes!!!
