Black and white

PostThu Aug 16, 2018 12:23 am

I just updated from beta to v15. Now, everything is greyscale! And when I go in the color tab, all the frames are white. Raw or prores. I have the latest CUDA and nVIdia update. Any ideas?

EDIT: I just saw in the pref that Resolve only see one of my graphic cards. Before it saw both. It doesn't see the one from my main display, the one I use Resolve on. Restarted the Mac. Changed nothing.

Have you checked your Saturation levels? I’m just finishing a video in Black and White and I did that by reducing Saturation to zero.

What hardware (CPU, GPU, i/o)? What OS? What source formats?

It's very possible your graphics cards need an update, which happens sometimes. Which specific Mac are you using?

I have the latest updates on everything. The last beta version was working perfectly. I updated to the official release and poof! Everything B&W.

I can only suggest you back up all your projects, de-install Resolve, then re-install it. If that doesn't work, I would call Blackmagic Customer Support directly and deal with them. There could be a dozen potential causes, most of which are not simple to diagnose.
