gang timeline and source frustration

PostFri Aug 17, 2018 1:39 am

I edit quite a few music videos and use the gang function to sync the timeline with master audio track and the source which will have a sync take of a performance. In PP I can sync both windows and happily switch between the master and source choosing edit points. In Resolve, when I select an in point on the timeline, then select the source window it jumps a few frames or seconds even, not allowing me to select the frame accurate in point. This has been the case for quite a while in Resolve but was living in hope that this new version would have fixed the problem. What's the point in having the gang function when you can't select the same relative in point on both timeline and source. I'm going back to Premiere.
