Resolve 15 Studio Stabilizer persistence

Using the current release version of DaVinci Resolve Studio 15 I loaded a clip, added it to a new timeline and selected the color page. Here I added a new node selected the Stablizer from the drop-down menu in the tracking window and started the stabilizer analysis. When it was finished I was not satisfied with the result so I deleted this second node. On the delivery page I then exported the timeline to a Quick-Time H.264 1080p25 file. In this file the stabilisation was still there!

Yes, I just discovered this myself after color-grading a piece of footage to try and make the stabilizer work better by suppressing low-contrast noise and enhancing edges.

Oh well... so much for that idea

Yes, I kind of wish we had a "Sizing/Stabilization" node that only did that, but it's done on a clip-wide basis. The only way to delete the stabilization is to go to the stabilizing window panel and manually clear out the tracking information (the horizontal lines) using the reset button in the upper right.

How about exporting your colour adjusted clip, reconforming to the exported clip, then stabilizing and finally reconforming to the original clip? Worth a try?
