Custom Fusion UI

PostMon Apr 23, 2018 9:06 am

I finally accepted the lack of UI customization when coloring in Davinci, but I can't get past not being able to change the UI for Fusion. Please allow us to customize it how we are able in Fusion 9. I like to have both my viewer and node graph as big as possible, which means having them on separate screens. Using both on one screen has me feeling extremely claustrophobic on top of slowing down my workflow since a lot more panning around is required.

Agreed, I am a Nuke user and would like to get into Fusion (through Resolve Studio 15) to avoid round tripping just to pull off a few simple keys and tracks here and there. The lack of UI customization is really a pain. On dual screen I have to cram viewers with the node graph while on the other side a whole screen is dedicated to spline and keyframes. Having an effects menu on the right literally as far away from the action as possible makes no sense to me at all. Could we at least just drag windows around or detach them?

+1 100%. Customization for compositing work is a key factor in being useful. Sounds superfluous, but it’s true.
