Fusion: flickering and freezing

Been having issues with a large Fusion composition, around 50+ nodes. The comp is built around 4 media clips, all UHD originally but since it's an HD timeline the MediaIn nodes are HD. I'm consistently getting one of these two issues:

1) black flickering frames, both on playback and on render

2) freezing up after a time, usually less than a second, after which the frozen frame just holds for the duration of the clip

So my question is, is this just due to instability with the current state of Fusion in Resolve? Or do I need better hardware, perhaps another GPU?

Me too. I have dual 12Gb gpu and more complex comps get this behaviour or playback at 3fps even when cached. I'm sticking with vfx connect for complex comps for the time being.

Thanks Paul. Have you experimented with any workarounds, or just gone straight to standalone Fusion?

If it means anything, it seems to fail with the loaders-- that is, the console claims that it can't get data or can't get parameter from the MediaIn node, and the chain of red (failed) nodes can be traced back to the MediaIn.

However I don't think the MediaIn is actually at fault, as I've tried swapping it out for different clips, different resolutions and even a DPX sequence and it still fails.
