edit while in cinema viewer mode

PostFri Sep 07, 2018 11:10 pm

Hello Everyone, Im trying to migrate to resolve but i needed first to know if its posible to edit using only shortcuts (mark in, out and insert or overwrite into a timeline) while in cinema viewer mode (fullscreen) because i tend to edit on set on a 15" macbook pro and i dont always have the choice of using an external monitor, any help will be extremely appreciated
cheers

You can only do this with an external display, using a Blackmagic Design video adapter card.

It´s not that someone its imposing anything. When I have my own physical space working with an external screen to monitor video in resolve everything is good, great even. but whenever I´m editing on set or on the road and I don't have access to a external monitor, while in full screen (cinema viewer mode) with just the laptop screen its possible to mark in and out, I can´t overwrite, insert, delete or any other edit related function. hope this makes sense as im sure youve guessed english is not my native tongue. have a nice weekend

You, Arturo, have a very admirable command of the English language. 'Glad you're here with us.
