DR 15 - mini panel goes to sleep and doesn't wake up

dear bm!

once my mini-panel does go to sleep i have to exit DR and reopen it to use it again.
i updated with the latest beta the bm-mini-firmware, and then this problem disappeared.
now in 15.0 it is here again and i don't see any firmware update.

is this a known problem?

No, it's not a known issue.

What version of CentOS are you using? What panel software version is installed? What Resolve version?

You are sure that pushing buttons on the panel (like the transport keys) don't wake the panel up?

resolve 15.0.0B.081
mini panel version 1.2

CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708

i just tried it right now: if i hit the transport controls, it does awake.
if i hit eg the "prev node" button, it awakes but displays "No Connection to DaVinci Resolve".

Is there some reason you are still using Resolve 15 beta code?

It would be worth trying the current 15.0.1 release version to see if that has any effect on the issue.

there was no special reason, therefore i updated to 15.0.1.003

the effect is the same. most of the time the panel doesn't wake up .

whether it works or not, an option to turn this "feature" on and off via user preferences would be nice.
