I'm excited to start using Resolve 15. Previously had 14 installed. Downloaded 15, ran installer, seemed to complete ok. Then tried to start Resolve and got 'entry point not found ...' error. Restart didn't fix it and I read a suggestion to first uninstall then reinstall. The Windows 10 remove programs feature seemed to allow me to uninstall successfully, but when I went to C:/Program Files the Blackmagic Productions folder and all program files were still there.. So I deleted them and restarted. Once again I ran the Resolve 15 installer but now I got a 'A newer version Resolve is already installed, please uninstall it in control panel first.' message.. Of course Resolve doesn't appear anywhere in the control panel/remove programs now. So what to do?
Does BlackMagic have a util to cleanly and thoroughly remove all Resolve files and registry entries? Otherwise, what's the next step?
My system: Windows 10 Pro, HP Z420 workstation (Xeon CPU), AMD R9 280 (supports OpenCL 1.2, Radeon software version: 17.7), 16GB RAM and plenty of free SSD space.
