daVinci Resolve 15 abd 14 doesn't start anymore

Installed free 15.01 version this morning. Optimized medias filled my system disk, so I throw some of it. Since then Resolve doesn't start, no splash screen, nothing… I deleted app, trying to reinstall the 15.01, 15.0, 14.3.1, still nothing!
My system:
MSI G65 stealth, Windows 10 pro, Core i7-8750H 2.2Ghz, RAM 32Go, GPU invidia GTX 1070 MaxQ
It worked perfectly during 4 month, only suppressing optimized medias.

Still triyng to desinstall/reinstall resolve. In Task Manager Resolve stay during 2 seconds and desapears, there is no splash screen.
I try to send you the log but the file is too heavy for your forum and I am not allowed to post URL, how can I send to you?

Post the URL with some obvious spaces, so the forum doesn't think it's a URL.

In addition to Resolve logs, it would be helpful to have your Windows System Information saved as a .NFO file.

I can't read the French error messages in the Windows NFO.

Looks like things were working in 15.0 and completely stop very early in the log process after installing 15.0.1.

For whatever reason, the config files are totally empty.

So probably the best thing to next try is the following clean install process:

In Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features - Right click DaVinci Resolve and select uninstall.

Next, in Windows File Explorer, rename the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve folder to DaVinci Resolve.old

Reinstall 15.0.1. If it still doesn't run send another log file.

Really sorry for my french windows installation
I have enough of problems with Windows (after 30 years of mac exclusive existence), not to add an English speaking system (and sorry for my very inperfect English).

DVR 15.0.1 works perfectly on my old 2012 MBP but it struggle to work with HD multicam. It was required to buy a brand new PC for my work, I produce image and installations for the stage and I use TouchDesigner who works much better with powerful GPU and with Windows. Before the problems, I was very happy with my test concerning DVR on this machine and I have the project of buying a studio licence, but I need a working installation.

I used another software to extract system infos, here is a link to .txt and .xml infos. Titles are in english, perhaps it would be more helpful:

I re-uninstalled DVR, the C/Programs/DaVinci Resolve folder was deleted by the uninstaller, no need to add .old
I re-Installed DVR 15.0.1 and there is still no splash screen. Here is the new log files

Right. So. I didn't ask you to rename C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve, as I expect that to be removed with the uninstall.

I asked you to rename C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve, which is not touched by the uninstall. Based on the logs, it doesn't appear that you did that.

C:\ProgramData will be a hidden folder, and you may not see that in Explorer, unless you've modified Windows Control Panel - File explorer Options - View tab to show hidden files/folders.

It works now, I am relieved.
I choose not to put the media files on my primary disk, as to avoid the problem.
Do you think its possible to reinstall my ancient projects?

Another question, more commercial. I want to buy the licence for Resolve and, perhaps, Fusion and I see 3 solutions:
– Buy the Resolve Dongle in my cine shop
– Buy the Fusion Dongle, I have heard that this dongle allow the use of Resolve Studio, it's true?
– Wait for the pocket Camera but I dont know when it will be available and I have not the money now.

I can manage for the moment with the free version but I am really interested about Optical Flow, Camera tracking and Noise reduction. I edit principally now with FCPX but I am in the process to migrate on DVR.

Your existing projects will be in the .old folder.

In the Resolve Project Manager page, set to show the database info, select New Database.

It will open in the Connect mode, with Disk selected, which is what you want.

Give the database a name that doesn't already exist on the system, and point the location to:

C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve.old\Support\Resolve Disk Database

That should work and show you the projects you previously had.

If you are interested in using stand alone Fusion, then yes, buying a Fusion license will also work with Resolve 15. The Fusion license will not work with earlier Resolve versions.

The Resolve license that comes with the PCC4K will not work with stand alone Fusion.

I have done what you say, I see 2 old projects but not all, there was a folder with some recent projects who doesn't appear, any idea where I can find?
But its not really a catastrophe, it was some exploration of grading.
