VFX connect removed option for source media?

In the newest release of Resolve, it seems the VFX connect dialogue removed the option for using the source media instead of sequencing the clip. This is a big problem because I now need to create my own handles within the timeline rather than being able to do it in fusion, and it also bakes in any lut or color that has been applied. Am I missing something? Has this checkbox actually been removed, or just moved?
Any help is appreciated.
