The simple Text Scroll no longer is responding to changes in duration of the scrolling text box. I have dragged the left boundary to create a one or two minute box, but the text still only scrolls the final five seconds which is the default duration when you drag the scroll text box to the timeline.
I’m running Resolve 15.1.1.005 on an iMac 27” late 2015 running macOS Mojave.
I have never had this problem before. This is the first time though that I have tried to control a scroll duration for this project on Resolve 15. I have rebooted and made no difference. Advice appreciated!
Thanks so much, Tom! That didn’t occur to me, but I am sure I have dragged the left boundary before since I would normally place the default box at the end of the Timeline above the final video clip which acts as a backdrop to the titles. Such a simple thing. Makes sense if the generator is placed as the last clip with nothing behind it or below on the Timeline, but this client specifically asked for titles over the wedding reception dancing.
I’m currently rendering a deliverable for proofing.

Stupid answer: if drag the right boundary does not work, try drag the left boundary
