Install Error

PostTue Aug 28, 2018 12:20 am

When trying to install PostgreSQL, I receive the following error:

There has been an error. The password specified does not meet the local or domain policy. Check the minimum password length, password complexity and password history requirements.

If I leave the PostgreSQL box unchecked, Resolve will not install properly (I'm assuming), as it hangs on the 'Starting Up' splash screen.

Any ideas why this might be happening, or how to fix it?

I'm having the same issue.

The IT professionals at the facility that I'm currently working (a University) tell me that the installer is probably setting a standard password which triggers our security protocol.

It was also mentioned that "it will be easier to motivate the manufacturer (BMD) to change the password in their installer than it is to change the security protocol. (Since that's never going to happen!)).

I'm currently exploring the option to install PostgreSQL manual en link it to Resolve afterwards.
