Automate to Sequence at Numbered Markers

Apologies if this has already been covered / is obvious / has been posted in wrong forum spot
I'm new here so please be nice
Peter Mckinnon has done a video for Premiere Pro - Showing the ability to Automate to Sequence At Numbered Markers....it seems really slick + most importantly a great way to save time / edit fast and get some sick shots into your edit / presentation in time with music....Does Davinci offer anything similar ?
I can't post the url - but the youtubevideo is titled "How to EDIT FAST in Premiere Pro! (This will BLOW YOUR MIND!!)" Goes for about 4 minutes....
Would multicam editing in Davinci be the nearest thing ?
Any suggestions + advice cheerfully accepted and greatly appreciated
