Hi all,
I'm trying to get my 1080p 59.94 sequence to play back smoothly in Resolve 15.3.1. There are consistent hiccups and dropped frames throughout that make it near impossible to review and QC. All footage is 1080p 59.94 ProResHQ, no color or effects added. When I work with 23.98 or 29.97 files in their respective sequence resolutions, playback is fine. I've tried working off of a 1GB server pipeline, moving all footage locally, forcing a cache render (although the footage should never need it), all to no avail.
Note: These same files with the same drive speed limitations playback correctly in other editing software.
Any ideas?
Working on an iMac:
macOS Sierra 10.12.5
4 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB
UPDATE 4/18/19: These same playback issues are still persisting in 16 Beta. It is a beta after all.... but just FYI.
