what do you use to upload SSD into MAC?

what do you use to upload the SSD footage from the BMCC into the MAC?

I have a 2.0 USB device that reads SATA, but it's very slow off course, I am looking for a TB speed system.
Are there any?

If you have access to Thunderbol, I would recommend the Seagate adapter.

If you are restricted to USB3, I like the toaster style docks. I have this one:

+1 on the Seagate thunderbolt adapters, I use both.

I also have a new Apricorn USB 3.0 bus powered adapter. Not as fast as the TB adapters, but for 25 bucks it's a bargain. Read speed of 267 MB/s vs. 369 Mb/s for the Seagate TB adapter. The old 2.0 Apricorn adapter gets only 39MB/s. (speed tested on the BlackMagic utility on a Retina MacBook Pro with a Crucial M4 256GB SSD)

Here is a link to it on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Apricorn-Notebook-Upgrade-Connection-ASW-USB3-25/dp/B005C983NA/ref=sr_sp-atf_image_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1368655311&sr=1-2

I'm just using the USB 3 adapter that came with an external SSD drive. Works fine. Thunderbolt would be better, but one thing at a time...
