The other nice thing about scaling is that not only is the UI at a reasonable viewing size on a smaller monitor, but video and images (should) use the native resolution of the display. So with Resolve on a 4K monitor, you would be able to view a 1080p video at 25% zoom with every pixel of the image visible.
