Charging Internal Battery

PostMon May 27, 2013 4:46 pm

Hi everyone. I was just charging my internal battery but i didn't find any sign that tell wether the power has fully charged or not. I've been charging about 3 hours but when i checked the battery is still on 50%. is it normal or what?

Thanks

The battery indicator is incredibly inaccurate on the BMCC. It's almost useless in fact. The battery is probably full charged.

BMD really have to make that indicator more accurate. It's pretty pathetic in its current state.

I generally have to leave the camera on charge overnight (i.e. about 7 hours) before the camera is fully charged using the AC adapter. However, I always use an external battery - so the internal really is just a backup for me.

My internal takes 2 hours, maybe a little more to charge, or until it says 100%. Like others said though, it's inaccurate, so it yours might be 100%. When you unplug it at 50% at 3 hours, does it go to 100% or stay at 50?

It stay at 50% and i used it to record until 10% then I recharged about 2-3 hours and it was 100%. its really unstable or inacurrate power indicator. Too bad.

100% agree. It's not a simple issue that customer would tolerate.
