PostGreSQL Project Disappeared

Hi all,

For some reason, a project that has been saved within our DR network database has completely disappeared? I was working on it with no issues, moved onto another project by opening it from the project manager, then tried to move back to the initial project and it's completely disappeared from the database??

Has this happened to anyone before and is there a way I can restore this single project??

If you want to get geeky with it, open the database in pgAdmin3.

Select Schemas - Tables, scroll down and right click SM_Project. select View Data, View All Rows.

Scroll over to the ProjectName column.

All the projects in that database will be listed. If you don't see the project you are looking for, then it's not in the database.

If you were to create a new project, work on it for hours, and never save it before opening another project, that might cause it to vanish.

My project disappeared this morning from my sql database.

I did this steps and my project is on that list, i also have the Resolve Project Backup, with .db files, but don't know how to restore it.

You restore backup project backups from the Project Manager page.

If you wish to restore a backup for a project that is listed, right click the project and select Project Backups. That will show you the available backups for that project.

If you don't see the project listed, or you don't see an expected backup under the project itself, then right click in an EMPTY area of the Project Manager page, and select Other Project Backups.

If what you are looking for is not there, then there likely isn't a backup for what you are looking for.

But if you have project backup dbs, as you say, it should appear in one of the above steps.
