As of today there's not more known, and even if we knew exactly when they'd start shipping, this wouldn't get anyone any closer to knowing when they'd receive their cameras - especially if you hadn't preordered already months ago.

Nobody knows. Everything else it's pure speculation.

They might be shipping them right now... 31 days of pain ahead of us.

I'm expecting my Pocket Cam in 2-3 weeks, but given we've seen no demo footage I'm not hopeful the 4k will be released on time.

You have indeed. Based on an update from the dealer, who was updated by BMD.

If it turns up slightly later that's no big deal for me, but I'd like to start using it!

B&H has had expected availability July 25th on its product page for several months now.

That's good.. I'm only asking cause i want to see the next firmware before committing to buying a preamp for my bmcc. There is a chance they may release it before the new cameras ship. Cause if they fix the major audio issues then the preamp would be unnecessary expense.

Of course I am interested in the bmpc but that's secondary to the firmware update..

I'm also excited like x-mas coming, yet i don't get my hope up just now - living in europe, and preordering a while after NAB, i'm glad if i see the camera before x-mas is actually here...
