Hi everybody...
Nowadays we are trying to do something really difficult but carries whole project a step forward in Turkey...
A few weeks ago a friend of mine called me and asked lots of questions about the Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
After than we've shot a few teasers for sitcom to be aired on the tv channel and they really liked its look as us and they decided to shot whole series with it.
Teasers,

I'll jumped directly to the end from this part,
We had a few tests with whole camera setup with support of Cine 360 and Oktotech,
Since it is a tv production they said it is really important to sync cameras to sound and each other we had to find a solution for it... Also they said it would be really nice to start all cameras record from one place with a button... By the way, they said they want to record sound on camera...
So, there was a few problems, first of all cameras has no timecode sync. And recording sound to camera is not practical how it should be.
Then we decided to use 3x Aja Ki Pro's on recording side, standing by director as main recorder and also video assist.
Why we choose KiPro's?
Before shooting, we downgraded all cameras to v 1.2.1 to be able to give 25p clean sdi output to recorders.
We connected each EVF to each camera and each KiPro to each EVF.
We all know what the camera brings us as advantages.
Let's talk about its disadvantages.
So, I am one of the camera operators for a while (to make other cameramans familiar with the equipments) and I liked that the system is working with less problems... I think we made it...
BTW, is there any examples of it with these cameras, I just wonder.
P.S. I would like to thank to both of Cine 360 and Oktotech for being with me on whole integration process... They really helped us and still backing us on broken accesories...

Why we choose KiPro's?
- They can sync timecode to each recorder and sound.
3 recorders can start to record with just one button
They have XLR inputs.

- Amazing DR and look as Alexa.
Small, Lightweight form factor to be able to put camera almost everyplace and easier handheld/shoulder camera operation.
10bit ProRes 422 and DNxHD
12bit uncompressed CinemaDNG RAW

Let's talk about its disadvantages.
- We need to go with a solution which is quite expensive on recording , KiPros.
Some accesories cannot survive on density of shooting calendar (I don't like movcam mattebox, and one of the shape rigs' handle got worn, one of the EVFs died because of a burned card in it.
EVF mounting is a trouble.. EVFs cannot be useful with fractional magic arms and we are looking to bring some lanparte single rod clamp evf/monitor holder as a proper evf mounting option.
