I'm running Studio 15 Beta 8 on a Mac with MacOS Sierra. Recently I started using a PostgreSQL database. The database runs remotely on a CentOS system. Everything but one thing seems to work great. After 10 minutes of working, I get an error that the backup folder could not be accessed in the selected Project Backup Location. The drive where I'm pointing my backups to is an ExFAT drive.

Now at first I thought it was a configuration error at my end. But when I switched back for a project to my Disk Database, the error didn't occur. I tested this again with a new project that I created on the PostgreSQL database and after seeing the error, moving it to the Disk Database where I did some 'work' for 20 minutes and no error. Also confirmed that indeed Resolve wrote the backup to the backup location. The reason I think it really is a bug is because the Project Backup Location is now a user setting, not a project setting and is therefore not changed between the two database types. Maybe it's related to the resolve crashing when it's going to write to the backup, which happened a couple beta versions ago. I hope this information helps.
