Subtitles - can i get more than 60 letters per line? -

Hi there, I'm a pro Resolve user but never done subs in resolve before, always Avid.

Thought I would give it a go, but it seems that there is a maximum of 60 characters per line, regardless of size.
If i shrink the size, it doesn't affect the maximum characters, Is this the norm, or am i being dumb here?

Any suggestions appreciated.

If i am to make the font this size, it truncates it to only 60 characters. I can't make it any longer but gives massive side margins.
Any ideas what i am doing wrong

This can be controlled from the project settings

Project Settings/Subtitles/Max Characters Per Line
