IRIS Button on BMCC MFT

PostFri Aug 02, 2013 9:39 pm

Sorry if that was answered before, but I simply can not find an answer online :(

What does the Iris-Button on the BMCC MFT do? I heard it should enable and disable the Zebra, but it doesn't. Has it any function?

Best Regards

It would be nice if they added a unique feature for this button... Well, I guess it is unique in the fact that it makes us wonder what it does.

Maybe a lock button to where if you accidentally touch the screen or buttons, it doesn't affect anything?!

This button on the BMCC mft does absolutely nothing. It's meant for the automatic non mechanical lenses that can communicate with the camera electronically. If you press it nothing happens but hopefully it'll be re-mapped to a useful function for us mft users.
