A 20Gb VRAM RTX 3080

I know there's a 24Gb VRAM RTX 3090. There are speculations out there that a 20Gb VRAM RTX 3080 is in the works. What do you think?

I think speculation, predictions and models are sufficiently errant sources of information that one should just ignore them.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
