That video is nice. The manual is on the DZOFilm website, and it details the methods shown in the video above.
For my 20-55 it has a base Shim of 0.5mm for the PL and I add 0.17mm on top for the EF Mount. From what others have said on Facebook Groups it varies lens to lens. That's fine. But once you determine the right shim amount I would save a note with the base PL value and then the EF value for future reference when switching the mounts.
I really love the lenses. Lens comparison video is releasing soon. I think they were putting finishing touches on it today for release tomorrow.
