New books on the way?

PostSun Dec 06, 2020 4:38 pm

Hello,
I would like to buy printed copies of the books downloadable in the training section of the Resolve page.

Considering I'm moving to Resolve 17 (already ordered my Studio 17 copy) I would like to buy recent editions of these book. Is there some plans to update these books?

Also, the book "Advanced Editing with DaVinci Resolve 15" seems not to be available for version 16, even if in other books is explicitly mentioned.

Any news? Thank you very much!

I would love to see Paul Saccone write new versions of those training manuals. Things have changed significantly in 17.

For me they would be an insta-buy. Even if they're available for free in PDF, I generally tend to prefer paper. I don't mind buying them.

It's easier to follow with the book, I think. Switching between Resolve and Acrobat is...cumbersome.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Saccone left the company in September.

It is May 2021. When exactly are the new 17 training materials coming out?

Things are opening up all over. Before that is the best time to go through the new manuals.

Time isn't on your side, Peter. ;)
